We would like to welcome our new pastor, Diane House, who will officially start March 1, 2017.
She comes to our parish with her husband George of 35 years and two cats. They have two daughters, Sarah and Erin,
and three grandchildren Alex (13) Owen (10) and Faithe (7).
Rev. Diane House graduated from UW-Stout, Menomonie, WI in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Science.
She then attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and earned her Master of Divinity Degree in 2007. She was ordained in September
of 2007 after accepting a call to Big Drywood Lutheran Church in Cadott, WI where she served as pastor until 2012. At that time
she accepted a call to serve Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City.
Pastor Diane has many interests including performing in plays, singing in choirs, reading and bird watching. But most of all, she is
passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God with all people.
A big thank you to Pastor Paul Settergren for serving our congregation for the past 18 months as interim pastor. His wife JaneAnn assisted
Pastor Paul with services and they will both be missed. They will soon start enjoying their retirement.
